ONLINE EVENT BOOKING SYSTEM

This year we’re utilising an automated ticketing and payment system for our events called TRYBOOKING. It’s simple to use with benefits that include: the convenience to book and pay for your tickets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, instantly receive tickets and receipts, no need to manage cash, reduced administration time and cost, no ticket printing or postage costs.

 

There is a charge of $0.30 per ticket to the purchaser of the ticket, which is charged at the time of purchase. As payments will be made by credit card, we understand that the integrity of the site, and its security features are important. The TRYBOOKING site is a secure https site that’s Verisign secure.

You will receive email confirmations from the “TryBooking Team” so please add them as “safe senders” email list. All events will be available on this page, making it easier to find out what’s happening where.

 

VOLUNTEERING FOR EVENTS

In addition to the new online booking system this year, we’re also got an online volunteering system
called VOLUNTEER LOCAL. You can see opportunities to help out at events. This could be for 30 minutes or perhaps get involved with the organisation from the start. Look at the  NJC volunteering website for a list of events that require helpers.

HELPERS are required for s number of upcoming events.

 

P&F COMMITTEE

The role of the P & F at Nudgee Junior is to : provide a social avenue for parents to meet one another and staff, to be a voice for the parents at NJC, to raise funds to provide some of the extras for our sons' education.

The P&F meet monthly on a Tuesday evening. The annual general meeting of the P & F occurs in the November meeting and office bearers for the following year are appointed. The P & F executive for 2013 :

Each of these roles plays an important part in the life of NJC. One of the strengths of the NJC community is the fact that when help is needed people are very generous with their time but also have fun along the way.

We welcome all parents and friends to our meetings which are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the Principal's office. You can also familiarize yourself with the Constitution which governs the objectives and functions of the Association.
