Welcome to the new fortnightly update from 5 Blue.  On this page we hope to place all relevant information for you to access. Our term has been full of interesting activities in all subjects.  We hope that you enjoy reading about some of the great things we have been doing.

General Information

PE:  PE uniform to be worn Thursday and Friday

Japanese :Thursday

Music: Wednesday

Social Skills: Wednesday

Computers: Wednesday and Friday.

Sport: 

A big thankyou to all parents who have helped or assisted in some way this cricket season. Although it has been short, it has been made more enjoyable by the large number of parents who have helped out .

Rugby trials will start straight after easter so remember to purchases mouthguards  soon.  No Mouthguard/ no play.

Schoolwork:

The boys have been working on a number of pieces to coincide with their aboriginal unit this term.  These include a dreamtime story, a painting to match the narrative and a dance using aboriginal and animal actions to illustrate the narrative.   Stay tuned for a parent day toward the end of term where boys will show their skills.  

In science , the boys are looking at flight.  They have made wings, rotor motors,  parachutes and are about to embark on their first project for the term.  Designing and creating their own jet aircraft.  There are limitations on the size of the jets so click on the link to  find  out more

I hope that this term has provided some excellent learning experiences so far.  As the boys mature and get into rhythm,  I am looking forward to  great finish to the term.
